Tājika Prashna

Tajika Prashna is a unique form of Indian astrology that is heavily flavored with Persian influences. The exchange of knowledge between the three great civilizations gave Tajika a mix of Greek/Persian/Indian concepts, which turned into a wonderful amalgam.

Tajika is a different school of Jyotisha and has different aspects and relationships which allow us to have a new and unique view on diverse subjects while still adhering to the solid, foundational concepts that have made Jyotisha the master of all forms of astrology and divination. We will study from Tajika Neelakanthi, a classic on Tajika Prashna and Varshaphala written by the illustrious, 16th Century author, Neelakantha.

I will teach classical Tajika Prashna and add in many concepts that were taught to me from my teacher and his Guru.

• Tajika basics: aspects, Diptamsha, Avasthas, etc…
• Tajika Yogas: how to use them judiciously so that you don’t get overwhelmed
• A unique usage of the Hadda amsha for interpretation
• Alternative House system: how to use a classical unequal house system in Prashna
• How to use the Muntha + Tajika concepts in natal analysis
